It's on your doorstep...
Check out the zone zone for details of your nearest T15 club. As new clubs come online, this is where they will be posted. Contact the actual clubs for details of meeting times, costs, equipment, etc. They are a friendly bunch so give them a call... | | |
Team challenges...
| Once you are totally hooked, your aim may be to to get into your racing team15 - a specially selected team of 15 who represent their club at four annual inter-club challenges. The challenges all take place within your RYA zone so travel distances are kept to a minimum. |
| |
And since you'll be part of a team, there'll be up to 14 other people - plus your coach - to keep you focused and offer support. The events are great fun and you'll meet loads of new people from other clubs. Dates of inter-club challenges can be found in a separate section of this website inter-club events.
Off the water...
| Keep in touch with friends from your club or people you have met from other clubs by using the message board.
It's a great way for club coaches to let you know what is planned at your local club and for the team15 office to let you know what is happening on a national level. You can start your own thread, reply to others, post your pix or let mates know what events you are going to. During winter months when you may not be on the water quite as often, the message board is a great way of keeping in touch.
& a quick mention on safety...
| Parents need not worry - team15 is perfectly safe as well as a great deal of fun.
Team15 clubs operate at RYA Training Centres and all commercial T15 clubs hold the Adventure Activities License, conforming to government safety legislation.
Team15 coaches are all safety boat drivers plus RYA qualified windsurfing instructors with special T15 training.
Since team15 clubbers also have to wear a buoyancy aid whilst afloat, safety is very much taken care of.
So team15 has taken the worry out of windsurfing! Just enjoy... |
| Finally... |
Whether it's inter-club challenges you're looking for or just local T15 fun , go to the zone zone now for details of your nearest club. Open to everyone. All abilities. No barriers. We'd like everyone to get clubbing with team15. So join in...

ADOPT-A-BEACH

The Green Blue is an environmental awareness initiative by the British Marine Federation and the Royal Yachting Association. One of its aims is to educate and promote the sustainable use of coastal and inland waters by watersports participants.
Some of the initiatives have a relevance to windsurfers - especially in achieving cleaner seas and beaches.
Adopt-a-Beach is definitely relevant to T15ers, which is a Marine Conservation Society project supported by the Green Blue.
