OPEN TRAINING OPPORTUNTIES Posted On: 23/06/2009 11:44:40 AM The Open Race Training Summer Camp at Northampton Sailing Club (Pitsford Reservoir) on 27th-30th July 2009, which all T15 sailors were invited to apply for, is now full. However, any T15 sailor still interested in open training opportunities should note that a few places are still available for Datchet Water Sailing Club on 11/12 July - but don't leave it too late to apply otherwise you may be disappointed! They want to receive bids from a wide range of partners (sailing/windsurfing clubs or projects), focusing investment on grassroots projects that will deliver against their key outcomes - 'grow, sustain and excel'.......( more ) |

All T15 sailors who participate in Team15 inter-club events during 2009 should make this their goal for the season. More than 1000 young windsurfers and sailors will descend on nine venues around the UK on the weekend of 26-27 September. Make it your goal to be one of them! ......( more ) |

ADOPT-A-BEACH
The Green Blue is an environmental awareness initiative by the British Marine Federation and the Royal Yachting Association. One of its aims is to educate and promote the sustainable use of coastal and inland waters by watersports participants.
Some of the initiatives have a relevance to windsurfers - especially in achieving cleaner seas and beaches.
Adopt-a-Beach is definitely relevant to T15ers, which is a Marine Conservation Society project supported by the Green Blue.
